Refund and Cancellation Policy

1. Introduction

This Refund and Cancellation Policy ("Policy") applies to all purchases made on www.luris.in, operated by Lex Coverage and Advisory Private Limited (CIN: U69100DL2025PTC446249), registered office at H No. 6, LGF, Vikram Vihar Extension, Lajpat Nagar (South Delhi), New Delhi – 110024, Delhi, India. Read together with our Terms and Conditions.

2. Nature of Purchases

The Platform sells credit packs on a one-time, pay-as-you-go basis:

There is no subscription or recurring billing currently offered.

3. General Policy — Credits Are Non-Refundable

Except as set out in Section 4, credit purchases are final and non-refundable once completed, consistent with standard practice for digital/SaaS credit-based services where the underlying service is consumed upon use.

Credits purchased are valid for six (6) months from the date of purchase. Any unused credits will expire and be forfeited at the end of this validity period.

3A. Free Credits

Free credits (for example, welcome or launch credits) are granted at no charge. They cannot be transferred, have no cash value and are not refundable or exchangeable for money. They are spent before paid credits and expire 30 days after they are granted, or on the date stated when they are granted. If a charge that used free credits is restored under Section 4.2, those free credits go back with their original expiry date. If they have already expired by then, they lapse and are not converted into paid credits.

4. Exceptions — When a Refund or Credit Correction Applies

4.1 Duplicate or Failed Charges

If you are charged more than once for the same purchase, or charged without credits being added, we will correct your credit balance or refund the duplicate/erroneous charge upon verification.

4.2 Technical Failures During AI Processing

If an AI-powered feature (Case Prediction, Agreement Analyzer, or Legal Roadmap Generator, including their respective follow-up chat functions) fails to return a usable result after a credit has been deducted from your account — for example, due to a processing error or service interruption — the deducted credit is automatically restored to your account. This applies across all current AI-powered features and their associated chat functions.

If, in an exceptional case, an automatic restoration does not occur, contact support (Section 7) with the transaction details, and we will manually verify and correct your balance.

5. Cancellation

As the Platform does not currently offer subscriptions, there is no recurring charge to cancel. This section will be updated if that changes.

6. Disputed and Chargeback Payments

Payment disputes and chargebacks are processed through our payment service provider's standard dispute resolution process, in accordance with the applicable card network and banking partner timelines. We will respond to chargeback inquiries raised through that process within the timelines that process requires.

7. How to Request a Refund or Correction

We aim to acknowledge refund requests within 2 business days and resolve verified requests within 7 business days thereafter.

8. Refund Method, Timeline, and Tax Treatment

Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method through our payment service provider. Credit to your account may take additional time depending on your bank or payment provider's own processing timelines, outside our control. Where GST was charged on the original purchase, the GST component will be reversed or credited along with the refund, consistent with applicable GST rules on cancelled supplies.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Platform or by email.
